As it nears the end of August it means the end of Summer is drawing near. I type this with a big sigh of relieve. I wish what they said was true, “Seattle only gets one week of Summer.” This statement is false, yes false. I’ve come to believe that Seattle locals tell outsiders this to keep gullible outsides out of Washington state. Getting back to the reason for this post. Summer is having it’s hurrah over these last couple weeks of August. Note: now Summer doesn’t officially end until September 21st, but if last year provides any feedback, cooler temps should be arriving back in Seattle by the beginning of September. The transition from Summer to Autumn is slowly starting to show. I am celebrating the end of the Summer season, showcasing the simplicity of the season in photographs.
