This week the Swedish Cultural Center is celebrating St. Lucia. I will be attending Luciafest, Sunday, December 09th. Students from the University of Washington will be performing the traditional Lucia pageant. There will be singing by Svea Male Chorus and the Swedish Women’s Choruses. Scandinavian Midsummer Festival, post-coverage
I attended the Scandinavian Midsummer Festival at Saint Edwards State Park this past Sunday (June 24) This event was put together by Skandia Folkdance Society. The event stayed true to the Swedish celebration. There were attendees in traditional folk costume.
