When I moved to Seattle, Washington from Lancaster, Pennsylvania I knew there would be a difference in the seasons, Seattle having mild weather year round (expect for that one really hot week of Summer) Winter arrived with a vengeance this year in the Pacific NW. Several days of snowfalls, accumulation of inches in Seattle and feet in surround areas.
Living in Capitol Hill I got a first hand encounter of what I thought were just wise tails. Locals were not kidding when they said people took doors and the like and rode them down Denny hill. I must admit this was quite enjoyable to witness.
Highlight of the snowstorm, the man who tried over, and over, and over, and over again to make it down this snowy hill in a plastic storage box.
