I dreaded consignment shopping as a kid. As I watched my friends arrive to school in the latest fashions from the mall, I was wearing worn clothes from Goodwill. This embarrassment turned into developing my own style over time, bound to happen when you don’t have a mannequin to mimic. I look back and I am grateful for this part of my upbringing.
