It’s getting close to the due date (mid-May) and we continue to prep for baby girl. First baby comes with a lot of firsts and walking into unknown territory.

Baby class to learn everything about preparing the nest is scheduled. We are converting our 700 sq. ft. one bedroom into a part nursery. Similar to the style of the apartment, it’s built from various trips to the thrift store.

There are square foot restrictions so we aren’t including all the traditional nursery items. We have the main furniture staples, a rocking chair, changing table and bassinet. Along with those items that will be kept in the bedroom/ nursery, we also purchased the necessities, including a car seat, stroller, baby bath and baby clothes. 

For the remaining items, we built a registry where family and friends can purchase items for the baby.

Purchased nursery items and a list of the registry items will shared in future posts as well as life with the newest addition to the family.
