Thanks to NPR : First Listen, I was introduced to the band First Aid Kit.

And thanks to the old school method of paper and staple, I saw that First Aid Kit is playing a show at the local music hop stop in First Hill, The Crocodile on April 11th.

Hailing from Sweden, this singing sister duo has been composing music since 2007. Their music is most accurately classified as  folksy. In 2008 First Aid Kit made their debut with their album, Drunken Trees . They followed up that with Big Black & the Blue  in 2010. Their latest album is The Lion’s Roar  is a personal favorite.
